
Pole Classes
At Butterfly Fitness Studio, we offer a range of classes designed to suit different experience levels and styles of pole. Whether you're brand new or looking to refine advanced skills, our classes provide a supportive environment where you can progress at your own pace.
Below you’ll find more details about each class, including prerequisites and what you can expect.
Beginner
Pre Reqs:
None. This class is suitable for complete beginners.
What to expect:
In this class you'll learn the foundations of pole fitness, including basic spins, poses, transitions, and simple movements. We focus on building strength, coordination, and confidence while introducing the core techniques needed for pole.








Beginner +
Pre Reqs:
Students should be comfortable with basic spins and beginner-level pole holds.
What to expect:
This class builds on beginner foundations with more challenging spins, poses, and combinations. You'll begin linking movements together more smoothly and developing greater strength and control. This will also include working on inversions
Intermediate +
Pre Reqs:
Students should already be comfortable with inverts, leg hangs and a strong butterfly and working towards Ayeshas
What to expect:
This class focuses on more intense and advanced moves, as well as linking tricks into longer combinations. Students will work on both static and spinning pole to develop strength, technique, and fluid transitions.







Spin Pole
Pre Reqs:
Beginner Spin Pole: requires no experience
Intermediate Spin Pole:
people who can already invert, and is designed to get you familiar with the techniques used on a spinning pole. We’ll be working on building the strength and endurance needed to move with grace and confidence whilst performing flowy combos, beautiful climbs and smooth transitions, aiming to make it all look 'effortless' and floaty - this is the class for those who want to fly!
What to expect:
Spinning pole introduces a completely different style of movement, focusing on smooth transitions, control, and beautiful flowing combinations.
Heels 101
What to expect:
Although some experience navigating around the pole is recommended. None required for routines classes. Beginners are welcome.
What to expect:
Heels classes focus on choreography, flow, and musicality while dancing in pole heels. You'll learn routines, floorwork, and transitions that highlight style and confidence.






Low flow
What to expect:
Some basic pole experience is helpful, but all levels are welcome.
What to expect:
Low Flow classes focus on slow, deliberate pole work, emphasizing technique, body awareness, and control. You’ll explore fluid transitions, gentle spins, and elegant poses while building strength and grace.
Mixed Level
Pre Reqs:
Some basic pole experience is helpful, but all levels are welcome.
What to expect:
This class allows students to work at their own level while focusing on technique, strength, and progression. Instructors will provide variations so both beginners and more advanced students can challenge themselves.
